The membership of OSAHU consists of insurance agents, company representatives and providers of healthcare.  The common denominator is that we are all consumers of health care services as well as insurance professionals.

OSAHU provides education to the health insurance purchasing public and decision makers about the value health insurance professionals deliver in the course of performing our daily duties.  We will strive to constantly monitor and influence the regulatory and legislative entities that govern our industry.  Through education and association involvement, we will strive to increase our members' ability to better serve consumers.  We will always do so in an ethical, moral, prudent and responsible manner.

The National Association of Health Underwriters has a powerful voice in Washington DC.  The integrity of this voice is supported by our local grassroot efforts at home.  The resources to make an informed decision regarding pending legislation is available and we encourage you to use those resources.  Operation Shout offers a quick and easy way to communicate with Congress.  Operation Shout
